Question Asked: Can You Record YouTube?
I’m not really sure what you mean with your question. I think you mean that you want to be able to capture videos from YouTube, and keep them on your computer, or iPod, or whatnot.
If that’s the case, technically the answer is no. YouTube doesn’t allow a way to download the videos that have been uploaded to their site.
However, there are a number of sites available that have this functionality built into them, to allow you to download videos from YouTube.
The one I found that seems the most promising is KeepVid. You simply pop in the URL for the video you want, and it does the rest.
I hope that’s what you were looking for. If not, please let me know.
Question Asked: How Do I Transfer Video To My Tivo From My PC?
With an older Tivo, the video can only come off your Tivo. You can’t put it onto the Tivo.
However, with a Series 2, Series 3, or XL Tivo, you can purchase the Tivo ToGo Plus software, which is $24.95. This software allows you to not only transfer shows from your Tivo to your PC, but you can also put video from your PC onto your Tivo.
The software/Tivo only supports certain file types, so some downloaded video may need to be converted before transferring it to your Tivo.
The downside is that the transfer software doesn’t tell you if the file is supported or not. So, if you spend 3 hours transferring an HD movie to your Tivo, and then try to play it, and the file type isn’t supported, the Tivo gives you an error message.

Question Asked: How Do I Upload HD Video To YouTube?
Surprisingly, uploading HD is just as easy as uploading anything else. YouTube is smart enough to know when something’s HD, and automatically add the “Watch in HD” link below your video.
There are some caveats, though, and your video needs to meet certain criteria to be considered HD. You can find the list of what specs you should ensure your video is up to snuff.
Be warned though, HD video can take a while to upload, unless you compress it quite a bit. The size limit is 1GB to upload to YouTube. 1GB, on a cable connection, can take up to 12 hours to upload.
Question Asked: How Do I Embed a YouTube Video On My Website?
YouTube has made it pretty easy to put videos on your website. As a webmaster, this is ideal if you want to host a short video, but not eat up your bandwidth by having people view it many times. Simply upload it to YouTube, and then put their code on your website.
When viewing the video you want to embed, simple look to the right of the video. You’ll see a section that looks like this:

YouTube Embed Section
Simply highlight the code they provide you, and paste it into your webpage. How you do so would depend on how you’ve built your site. The majority of websites that are using simple HTML would require you to open the page you want the video on, and put the YouTube code on it, and save the document back to your server.
Using other applications (WordPress, Blogger, etc), the way you’d get the video on your site would differ vastly. The jist of it is, get YouTube’s embed code from the video, and put it into one of your website’s files, one of your blog posts, or your database.
It’s really pretty simple, assuming you know how to edit your website. If not, send the code to your webmaster, and ask them to put it on your site for you, on whatever page you’d like it on.
